Final Post!!! We’ve arrived, destination: Jewelry Give Away. Remember, you have to comment on the final post to be entered in this drawing. This is the ila blu offering, CoCo Love. Collection: Charm Lura. Species: pendant/necklace. Etched copper, love pendant, accompanied by coconut, turquoise and faceted glass, swings on a sterling silver, contemporary, Italian chain (18″). Are you loving her? Mmmm copper.
Prowess: Life energy, communication, compassion and protection for it’s wearer. CoCo Love is warm in summer or winter. Coconut shell (known as a symbol of endurance and spirituality) echos the tropics. The blu of the turquoise and glass grounds this piece in harmony. CocoLove elevates the everyday in a mindful way. Oei, I just made it in time, I haven’t been able to open my laptop for some days now…much work to do. But fortunately just in time for your contest. I love the necklace and hope to be the lucky one!!
So glad to see you made it Frieda! And everyone, Blessings. This is fun.
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL, as is all the work I’ve seen from you.
Beyond the “Blu” Door, “Coco Love” brings to mind one of my favorite quotes, “Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all of the barriers within yourself that you had built against it.” – Rumi
I’ve built walls and doors around this heart. I think I did a good job. Not only do I have strong walls and good looking doors, I have an attractive “fortress.” At least, that’s what I assume because I hear the knockin’. I hear the shouts, “Open up – it’s me and I want in!” I even see the visitors sitting on the doorstep waiting for me to unlock the door and let them in. Some have waited for long periods of time, others have left immediately after no response or the “right” response was heard. Each time a visitor left, a new lock was added to that “blu” door.
I’ve spent many hours peering outside through a peep hole. I see the palm trees, the white sands, the waves crashing, and the seagulls. Occasionally, as I peer outside I can feel the breeze coaxing me outside my walls. There were moments, when the urge to open the door and feel the wind on my face and the sand between my toes, were unbearable. After time no amount of coaxing could motivate me to go outside or let others in.
Then “He” came along — knocking on the door and trying to peer through the windows. He smiles, waiting patiently until I find the right key to open the door. He hears the jingle, he sees me trying, and he sits…drinking his coconut milk, listening to music, and telling me jokes. I laugh…the breeze coaxes me. His stories about life, his family, and Jamaica encourage me. His patience soothes me and gives me strength, as I unlock one lock at a time…
This is what this piece has inspired within me…
This truly is a beautiful give-away…i’m hoping i’ll be the lucky girl who will be protected by this necklace…keeping fingers crossed 😉

Hey there!! I love this piece, and I wear mine all the time. I found your big leaf prop from your show last year in my scrapbook kit. It will come in handy for the next round of photo’s and I will not lose it again. (funny, the places you put things that seem safe and unforgetable). Hope all is going well – I love reading your blogs.
Gee, I think I finally figured this out! I love your jewelry, so gorgeous. I was hoping to take some of it with me to Greece (for good luck), but wasn’t able to see you before I left.
Love you much,

Peace and love always…….
Hello-
I’m a fellow flyer! I just stopped by to check out your blog! I love your jewelry! I have been wanting to venture into actually making my own beads, charms, pendants, etc… I just need to learn how to use some equipment, I think! I was reading some of your posts and how you drill and bend your own materials. What tools do you use? If you don’t mind me asking. I’ve been wanting to use stones and such that I find but not sure what tools to use….Any suggestions….
